Czech Republic 3 Scotland 1:FORMER Rangers winger Libor Sionko scored twice as the Czech Republic warmed up for Euro 2008 with a hard-earned and deserved 3-1 victory over Scotland in Prague last night.

Sionko, who had a disappointing time at Ibrox before joining Copenhagen, surged into the centre of the box and beat Craig Gordon on the right to open the scoring in the 61st minute.

Michal Kadlec made it 2-0 in the 84th minute, blasting a low shot towards the far post before David Clarkson pulled one back a minute later, picking up a pass in the penalty area, shrugging off Tomas Sivok and beating Petr Cech from close range.

But Sionko ended Scottish hopes of a comeback by prodding in his second in the 88th minute.
