LEINSTER MFC QUARTER-FINAL/Dublin 1-13 Kildare 2-10:DUBLIN AND Kildare could not be separated for the second successive week as an injury-time Kevin Feely point in extra-time helped Kildare snatch a draw at Parnell Park on Saturday afternoon.

Philip Ryan, who impressed with 1-4 after his introduction, looked to have sealed Dublin’s progress to the semi-final with a late free but Feely to kicked a sublime score from distance.

Kildare had early points from Fionn Dowling and Pádraig Fogarty and Fogarty’s goal on 10 minutes helped the visitors to a deserved 1-4 to 0-4 interval lead.

Dublin were on level terms midway through the half thanks to two points from Ryan and another from Fearghal Duffy. Liam McGovern and Seán Hurley kicked fine scores to push Kildare two points ahead entering injury-time. Dublin replied with a Seán Stewart point and in the fourth minute of injury time, Adam Caffrey kicked the equaliser, ensuring another 20 minutes of action.

Points from Jack McCaffrey and Duffy gave Dublin the initiative but they were pegged back by scores from McGovern and Philip Cocoman as the first period ended level. A Ryan goal eight seconds into the second period handed Dublin the advantage but a penalty, converted by Feely three minutes later, ensured both sides live to fight another day.
