MUNSTER U-21 HC SEMI-FINAL Clare 1-20 Cork 1-11:CLARE STUNNED Cork at Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday evening to book a Munster under-21 hurling final with Tipperary next week.

They made good use of the strong wind in the first half, surging 1-9 to 0-5 in front at the break with full-forward Caimin Morey scoring the goal after 21 minutes.

Cork's Patrick Horgan had a 33rd-minute penalty saved and later Conor Cooney swept Stephen Moylan's goal-bound shot off the line but, those incidents apart, it was all Clare.

Clare matched Cork score for score in the second half and three unanswered points, from a Morey free, John Conlon and Seán Collins, moved them 1-19 to 0-11 in front before Horgan grabbed a consolation goal for Cork.
