ULSTER SHC Final Cushendall (Antrim) 1-14 Ballygalget (Down) 1-13:CUSHENDALL HAD to survive a backs-to-the-wall second half in yesterday's final. The winners went in at the break leading 1-8 to 0-8 as Martin Coulter hit seven points from frees for Ballygalget.

A 16th-minute goal by Conor McCambridge set Cushendall on their way. That score put them 1-4 to 0-3 ahead with Paddy McGill adding two points and Aidan Delargy another for a 1-7 to 0-3 lead after 20 minutes. When Paddy Coulter netted for Ballygalet in the 61st minute it was 1-14 to 1-12 and five minutes in to injury time Steven Clarke made it a one point game but Cushendall held out. Brian Delargy (Cushendall) and Stephen Johnston (Ballygalget) were sent off a minute from time.
