St Mary's, Charleville, are looking to defend their All-Ireland College's Senior title for the fourth time in succession in tomorrow's final at McDonagh Park in Nenagh. Colaiste Bride of Enniscorthy are back again in search of their first Corn Sceilge trophy after losing out last year 1-11 to 1-04.

The outstanding player in the Cork side, Eileen O'Brien, already holds three senior medals and is expected to figure prominently along with Aine Kelliher and Niamh Bowles, both of whom have won All-Ireland minor medals with Cork. Captain Caomhe Harrington is currently on the Cork senior team.

Wexford hurling great Mick Jacob has two daughters, Ursula and Helena, on the Colaiste Bride side.

The inaugural B final will feature Sacred Heart Convent, Clonakilty, and Kilcormac Vocational School of Offaly.
