Clongowes Wood College emphasised their superiority over a plucky CBC Monkstown by running in four tries at Donnybrook.

Morgan Hickey-Crowe crossed for the first try on 12 minutes with Conor Clancy converting. Brian Crean and Dylan O'Brien added tries in the 17th and 26th minutes. Killian Finane landed a drop goal, Clancy added a penalty and an injury-time try from Dermot Dorgan secured the win.
