Allsport photographer Graham Chadwick has been named Finest Sports Photographer, in the World Sports Photo Contest '98. Graham's photograph, shown here, was taken at the London Marathon last month and earns him top prize of £5,000.

The competition, supported by the Sasakawa Sports Foundation, is one of the most prestigious sports photography awards. Graham's photograph, and those of the other prize-winners from over 12,000 submissions from over 50 countries, will be featured in a major exhibition to be held in Yokohama, Japan, in August.
