RACING NEWS:REPORTS FROM Coolmore Stud indicate the triple-classic winner Camelot is making good progress after his colic surgery on Thursday night.

Aidan O’Brien’s English and Irish Derby hero was admitted to Fethard Veterinary Hospital for exploratory surgery. “Camelot’s colic surgery went well and he is doing great. The veterinary team are delighted with his progress to date,” a Coolmore statement said.

The surgery came four days after Camelot finished seventh in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
