Ballinderry earned Ulster yet more success in the Kilmacud senior football sevens final at Glenalbyn with a five-point victory over 1993 club champions O'Donovan Rossa on Saturday.
Ulster has been represented in all nine of the deciders this decade and the province's latest victory was carved out in the first half when the Derry club took the game by the scruff of the neck.
Inter-county midfielder Enda Muldoon made some probing runs as Ballinderry raced to an 0-8 to 0-3 lead.
But O'Donovan Rossa, who staged a remarkable comeback to knock out Naomh Mearnog of Dublin in the semi-final, where awarded a penalty shortly after the restart and up stepped Kevin O'Dwyer to convert from the spot.
The keeper was no sooner back in goal when Fabian Muldoon rounded him to establish a seven-point lead for Ballinderry.
Couleth Gilligan was proving effective as an outfield player and his two points, along with some astute free-taking from Gerard Cassidy, took Ballinderry further away from their Cork opponents.
Nonetheless Rossa showed admirable perseverance, with late goals from Don Davis and Frank McCarthy adding some respect ability to the scoreline in the end.
