Sir, – Donald Clarke's article attacking the Eagles ("The Eagles' 'Greatest Hits' is music for people who do not really like music", Life, August 24th) compares the band to engineering students with hair like someone's dull older brother.
That is rich coming from someone who obviously modelled his look on Dr Bunsen Honeydew from the Muppets. – Yours, etc,
