A chara, – With respect to Jim Stephens (April 25th), the animal behaviour counsellor, could I suggest that the reason why Frank McNally's cat, Pete Briquette, is acting up (An Irishman's Diary, April 22nd) is more likely to do with the fact that he is named after a "rat", albeit a Boomtown Rat?
