Waiting times for children’s hospitals

Sir, – The words: “Waiting times at children’s hospitals are unacceptable” were recently broadcast on radio, television and printed in daily newspapers. In fact, what is “absolutely” unacceptable is, these very same words have been repeated over and over again for years, nay decades, and the only discernible change has been that the waiting times have become longer. – Yours, etc,
