Sir, – When I moved into my present home, I had beautiful views of Killiney Hill and Mullins Hill in Dublin.
Within a few years, a builder had built houses which blocked that view. Gone was the lovely vista. No more would I see hang-gliders floating in the air. There was not a mention of that happening in the media.
Now every time an attempt is made to build near the home of a well-paid media person, column inches in the newspapers are written about it.
Is there any chance we could have some real news in place of giving a platform to such irrelevancy. – Yours, etc,
