Sir, – Your article “Eir sued by Dutch provider of ‘DIY’ customer care service” (Business, March 23rd) informs me that the average waiting time for calls to the new Eir customer service facility is eight minutes. I have phoned this service twice in the past week and on both occasions was waiting just over one hour to speak to a representative. Am I phoning the old number? – Yours, etc,
