New waste rules for Dublin

Sir, – Unlike Stephen Curtis (May 16th), I was relieved to read that householders will have to prove how they dispose of their waste or face fines or court action under new bylaws.

Sir, – Not to rubbish Stephen Curtis’s dilemma (May 16th), but he shouldn’t waste any more anguish on his litter dilemma. Rather than refuse to deal with his refuse inspector, a solution could be trashed out by presenting his shop receipt for his bin tags. Garbage?  – Yours, etc,
