Sir, - Travelling around Dublin, I notice we now have got somepeculiar linguistic hybrids called "Lána Bus: 24 hour-Monday to Sunday"(sic) marked on some of our streets. However, we don't have a 24-hour,seven-day bus service! What is the rationale behind this obviousanomaly? Have I missed something here? Perhaps there is some covertattempt to frustrate the Dublin motorist!
Another question: why is it that some buses seem to shun these"Lána", while some motorists seem addicted to them? - Yours, etc.,
