Sir, – In your Editorial (March 15th) you refer to Enterprise Ireland as the agency responsible for attracting foreign direct investment to Ireland. I’m sure that IDA Ireland would disagree with you on this while recognising the lead role that Enterprise Ireland plays in developing indigenous Irish industry.
I also venture to suggest that it is Ministers who “back up” IDA officials when overseas on IDA business and not vice versa. – Yours, etc,
