Madam, - Your economics editor (April 19th) reminds us that the Fianna Fáil economic election programme assumes that the economy will grow by 4.5 per cent annually.
Yet, according to the latest forecasts from the Central Bank, the economy will grow by only 4 per cent next year. What a pity Fianna Fáil didn't know this at the time - or did they? Perish the thought!
