Sir, – Thank heaven for Miriam Lord. Her hilarious piece on James Reilly, Kathleen Lynch and others getting stuck in a lift at the Phoenix Care Centre certainly gave me a lift (“A fleeting taste of life without a mobility allowance”, Home News, March 1st).
Could we get more politicians and their advisers into dysfunctional lifts please? – Yours, etc,
