An invitation for Trump

Sir,– I strongly believe that we should welcome Donald Trump to our small nation but only under the following circumstances. First, when every primary school teacher in Ireland is qualified to carry a concealed weapon; second, when the Monaghan-Armagh Border wall is completed; and third, when we open two new turf-burning power stations in Dublin 4.

It appears that Mr Trump likes people who agree with him, and these three actions would show him how much we agree. – Yours, etc,

DERMOT O’ROURKE,

Lucan,

Co Dublin.
