Sir, – I am a consultant radiologist and my job includes reporting trauma scans and X-rays. It is quite shocking the amount of e-scooter injuries that I encounter. Many of these are significant injuries.

I would implore that there is an immediate ban on e-scooters as the level of injury I encounter is unacceptable and requires immediate action. – Yours, etc,

Sir,- In light of all the talk about the safety of e-scooters, today I witnessed an adult male and a young child on a scooter while at the same time the man had a dog on a lead running alongside them. Needless to say, they were riding on the footpath and not a helmet in sight.

What hope is there? – Yours, etc,

MJ TOMLIN,
