Did our Government not take out a big sharpie last week to abolish the passenger cap at Dublin Airport?
Darragh O’Brien, the Minister for Transport, has published the proposed Dublin Airport (Passenger Capacity) Bill 2026, which will abandon the 32 million passenger cap at Ireland’s busiest airport.
If the eastern seaboard hasn’t seen enough rain already this year, what will the effects be like when 40 million passengers are taking off and landing annually in their fossil-fuel-burning aluminium tubes in the future? – Yours, etc,
