Sir, – I am delighted to read that “Aer Lingus pilots back pay deal and bring end to industrial action” (News, July 23rd). The pilots’ representative sounds particularly proud that no “work practice changes” were conceded.
I’ve been riding around San Francisco for the last couple of weeks in Waymo’s amazing driverless taxis.
