Sir, – Fintan O’Toole is astonished at the gall of Lidl’s objection to the design of part of the MetroLink (“Lidl wants MetroLink redesigned so it can build apartments. And can you pay the bill please?”, Opinion & Analysis, March 19th).
I suggest we let Lidl build the whole thing from start to finish. It would be built on time and under budget, using tools on sale in its middle aisle. Everyone’s a winner. – Yours, etc,
