Sir, – There has been a subtle change to the notice on the boarded-up fern house in the Botanic Gardens in Dublin.
It no longer mentions that the work will be carried out “when funds become available”.
Upon inquiry, I was told that the necessary funds have been allocated to this project.
So although progress may still be slow at least now we are headed in the right direction. – Yours, etc,
