A youth will appear at Virginia District Court this morning in connection with the investigation into the death of a 70-year-old Co Cavan man last weekend. The youth is being detained in Monaghan Garda station.
Gardai arrested six youths early yesterday in connection with the death of Mr Patrick Jackson, whose body was found last Saturday in a car park at Bridge Street, Cavan town. The other five youths were released without charge.
