MOSCOW - President Boris Yeltsin got a boost for re-election from a Russian centre-right group, Our Home is Russia, yesterday and said he would make it clear in a week's time whether he will stand for a term in the June election. The bloc is led by the Minister, Mr Viktor Chernomyrdin.

In Strasbourg yesterday, the Council of Europe's committee of ministers gave final approval Russian membership and invited Moscow to join as its 39th member state.
