Tiger Woods moved into a four-shot lead at the half-way stage of the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando after shooting a second-round seven-under-par 65.

The world number one is seeking his third straight win in this event.

Woods began the day in a five-way tie for the lead but birdied four of his first seven holes and three straight on the back nine to finish with a two-round total of 12 under par on 132.

Scott McCarron is alone in second spot, while in-form South African Ernie Els and Angel Cabrera of Argentina are tied for third at seven under on 137.
