A woman is being questioned this morning at Kilmainham Garda station following an assault on a garda last night.
The garda was hospitalised after suffering lacerations to the face and a broken nose after being attacked with a bottle at Memorial Park, Kilmainham, in Dublin.
He had been called to the scene shortly after 6pm to investigate reports that members of the public were being attacked in the park.
A garda called to the scene was hit on the face with a bottle and later taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.
