An unexploded shell, possibly from the First World War, has been found at a lane close to Glenalua Road, Killiney, Dublin. A woman who lives nearby discovered it at about midday yesterday. Army bomb disposal experts removed the shell from the scene but gardai said it posed no risk to the public.
