Mike Tyson's next fight seems likely to be on June 2nd in Washington, with talks underway that could secure a deal by the end of the week.
"It's a very good possibility," said Jay Larkin, the boxing boss of Showtime, the network to which Tyson is contracted.
Former world heavyweight champion Tyson, 48-3 with 42 knockouts, is set to fight Nigerian David Izon, 27-3 with 23 knockouts.
It will be Tyson's first fight since stopping Poland's Andre Golota after two rounds last November at Pontiac, Michigan.
