A man in his 30s and a four-year-old boy are being treated in hospital after a fire broke out at a flat in west Belfast this morning.

The two escaped from the flat on the Grosvenor Road shortly after the alarm was raised at around 7 a.m.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, but both are said to be suffering from shock and smoke inhalation.
