Two youths are being questioned by gardaí this evening in Waterford after an elderly Argentinean woman was assaulted and robbed in the city yesterday.
According to a garda spokesman the 80-year-old woman was walking along the quays when she was stopped by two males. It is alleged she was knocked to the ground and had her bag stolen.
The woman sustained a head injury and a quantity of cash was taken.
