Two NI police officers hurt after being struck by car

Two Police Service of Northern Ireland officers were injured in west Belfast this morning after they were apparently struck by a car when responding to reports of a fracas at Moyard Parade off the Springfield Road.

The officers were investigating reports of a crowd armed with knives fighting in the area at 8am. Police reportedly fired a shot in dealing with the incident. Four people have been arrested and the Police Ombudsman's office is investigating the shooting.
