Two Chinese men were rescued from a burning house by RUC officers in Ballymena, Co Antrim last night.

Two Chinese men were rescued from a burning house by RUC officers in Ballymena, Co Antrim last night.

An RUC spokesman said that the cause of the fire - in a house converted into flats - was unknown, but that the incident is being treated as suspicious.

The two men were rescued from an upstairs flat at around 2.20 a.m., and there were no injuries reported.
