Two men in court over €1m Meath drugs haul

Two men have appeared at a special sitting of Dunshaughlin District Court in Co Meath in the connection with the seizure of cocaine worth an estimated €1 million on Friday night.

Before the court were Fergus Hannigan (30) of 32 Griffith Road, Finglas, Dublin 11 and 33-year-old Derek Jones of 121 Millbrook, Navan, Co Meath.

Both were charged with possession with intent to supply and remanded in custody with consent to bail. They are due before Cloverhill District Court next Wednesday.

The charges relate the the discovery of cocaine in two separate locations in Co Meath on Friday.
