A 21 year old motorcyclist died in a collision with a car on the Lisdoonvarna Road outside Kilfenora, Co Clare, early yesterday morning. He was Mr Alan Healy of Killeen, Corofin.
In Dublin a pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Killinarden in Tallaght at 9 p.m. on Saturday night. The man was named as Mr Christopher McMahon (56) from Cushlawn Park.
