Two men have been charged in Dublin in connection with a robbery in which a priceless copy of Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift was stolen from Armagh Library last December.

Police said five manuscripts taken in the raid had been recovered when two men were arrested at Dublin Airport, but the Swift book was not among them. Mr Phillip Joseph Monks, from Armagh, and Mr Arthur McShane, of Clondalkin, Dublin, were both accused on Saturday night of handling stolen goods and will appear in court later this week.
