Two men arrested over raid on Dublin bank

Two men have been arrested following an armed raid on a bank in Dublin city centre.

Two men have been arrested following an armed raid on a bank in Dublin city centre.

The men, aged 23 and 41, are being detained at Donnybrook Garda Station in connection with  a raid on the Bank of Ireland on Upper Leeson Street shortly before 3.30 p.m. this afternoon.

Gardai say they have recovered a quantity of cash, an imitation firearm and a knife.
