A car bomb has exploded in Pamplona, Spain, injuring two people, Spanish media reported this evening.

The national TVE channel says a Ford Escort blew up in the parking lot behind the main administration building of the University of Navarra.

The Spanish news agency Efe says two people were treated at the scene by paramedics but their injuries do not appear to be critical.

The reports say a caller had warned authorities half an hour before the blast.

Spanish radio reports the car exploded at 9:03 p.m. and says the caller claimed to speak on behalf of the outlawed Basque separatist group ETA.
