Two men have been arrested in Northern Ireland by detectives investigating a paramilitary style shooting.

The men, who were detained at their homes in Coleraine, Co Derry, are being questioned about a shooting in the town on June 24th.

The victim was shot in the leg when three masked men burst into his Loughhinhill Park home in what police are treating as a paramilitary-style attack.

A white Peugeot 205 car which was seen speeding away from the scene of the shooting shortly after 10pm that night was later found burnt out on the town's Loguestown Road.
