There have been two separate explosions in Derry tonight, police have confirmed.

There have been two separate explosions in Derry tonight, police have confirmed.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the blasts took place close to the tourist office on Foyle Street, and at Strand Road near the DHSS office.

She said no injuries had been reported.

Both areas had been evacuated and cordoned off following two earlier telephone warnings.

Police are at both scenes.
