Two people have died in separate overnight car crashes.
A 63-year-old woman died in Co Galway when the car she was travelling in collided with a truck.
The woman was a backseat passenger in the car on Barna Road, Co Galway, shortly after midnight. Three passengers were injured.
A man was killed in the early hours of this morning when the car he was driving went out of control and crashed at Lough Salt, Kilmacrennan, Co Donegal.
The crash happened at 3.30 a.m. Only one vehicle was involved. Three other men in the car received minor injuries.
The dead man is 29 years of age and from Co Donegal.
