Two arrested in double murder investigation

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murders of Eddie Ward and Brian Downes in Dublin last month.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murders of Eddie Ward and Brian Downes in Dublin last month.

The men, aged 27 and 28 years, are being held at Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda stations. They are being questioned under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.

A garda spokesperson said the pair were arrested this morning as part of the ongoing investigation into the double shooting on October 5 thlast on the Greenhills Road in Walkinstown.
