With renewed concern about more foot-and-mouth cases in Britain the Department of Agriculture in Dublin has urged travellers to and from the UK to be careful about observing precautions against the spread of the disease. Yesterday the outbreak in Northumberland reached 13.
Meanwhile seven Scottish farms were last night under tight foot-and-mouth restrictions following contact with a contaminated farmer in northern England.
