The Saturday Milk Market in Limerick will soon become a pedestrianised area. Limerick Corporation is to bring in trading laws which will mean the streets around the market will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. "This will add greatly to the safety, relaxation and enjoyment of people from city and country who are regular shoppers at the market," said Democratic Left councillor Mr John Ryan.
