Gardaí are investigating a crash that killed a man this morning at Brize, near Claremorris, Co Mayo.
A man in his sixties was fatally injured when the tractor he was driving hit a car at about 11 a.m.
He was taken from the scene to Mayo General Hospitalin Castlebar where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the car was not seriously injured and there were no other occupants in the car at the time.
Gardaí have not yet released the dead man's name until next of kin have beeninformed.
