Tourist dies in cliff fall

A SCOTTISH tourist was killed and a woman critically injured last night after falling from cliffs at Rosses Point, Co Sligo. The couple were walking when the tragedy occurred. They fell about 40 feet on to rocks at the picturesque beach close to the yacht club. The man, believed to be in his fifties, was killed. The woman was taken by Air Corps helicopter to Sligo General Hospital, where her condition was described as critical.
