World Cup:Spain coach Vicente del Bosque dropped misfiring striker Fernando Torres and included Pedro in attack with David Villa for the European champions' World Cup semi-final against Germany at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Torres returned from knee surgery shortly before the tournament and has yet to find the net in five appearances in South Africa.

Pedro came on as a substitute in the European champions' 1-0 quarter-final win over Paraguay and it was his shot that rebounded off the post for Villa to net the winner.

Germany coach Joachim Loew made only one change to his team from their 4-0 win against Argentina in the quarter-finals, opting to replace suspended striker Thomas Mueller with Piotr Trochowski, who will play down the right wing.
