Tories sack shadow minister

London - The Tories' spokesman on London, Mr Shaun Woodward, was sacked last night after refusing to accept the party line on retaining legislation forbidding councils from promoting homosexuality. Mr Woodward refused to back down from his position of support for the Labour government's policy of scrapping the law.
